Welcome to our autumn edition of I DO magazine, autumn is the perfect month for new beginnings and it is also a quite popular season for weddings. The heat starts to decrease a bit and it is not very cold yet. So, the perfect temperature in which to enjoy a great wedding outdoors; but be prepared for unwanted rain. The ideal venue would be one that has space available both indoors and outdoors! It is also a great season to play with a different range of earthy colours such as oranges, greens, purples, magenta and pinks – all very pleasant colours to choose from for a bridal theme, decorations and flowers!
We have prepared an edition packed with interesting, inspiring articles for you to follow, starting on page six with a book, by Jojo Moyes, to read and a word from an expert, Ms Pauline Bondin; she will be talking about what makes a happy marriage. It is what really counts, the wedding day is an important day but marriage is for a lifetime and it is best to live happily ever after in harmony with our better half.
We have been inspired by the Royal Family following the wedding of Pippa Middleton, who is the younger sister of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and her husband James Matthews; we cannot get over that as yet. We wanted to create a royal inspired bridal photoshoot. Have a look at our own Princess Chanelle in three different beautiful gowns by Lilly Lou Bridal Designer, starting on page 12.
Be inspired with some gift ideas for the bridal team, a cocktails guide to your pre-wedding party and getaway ideas for your honeymoon. Meet our lovely couples who shared their stories with us for this edition starting on page 23.
We hope you enjoy this issue as much as we enjoyed working on it, until next time.
Lots of love,
Claire xx
