Welcome to 2020’s first issue of I Do, one in which we are looking to the future, with clear 2020 vision, to bring you inspiration and information that will make your wedding plans extra exciting. Of course, weddings are arranged so far ahead that what nails it one year may be history by the day of your wedding. So, in this issue and throughout the year we plan to highlight attractive and practical styles and trends which we’re sure will last the distance.
Classic or one-day-in-a lifetime dresses, beautiful hair and make-up, and accessories to grant any bride’s wishes, will appear on our issues.
Wonderful, off-the-wall wedding locations, exceptional entertainment ideas for hens, stags and receptions, and different ways to personalise your ceremony will all feature in turn.
Couple related topics are important too. Marriage brings new dimensions and demands to a relationship. Wedding ceremonies are changing, so all couples can celebrate the same life-long commitment to each other that a wedding expresses. Travel, for a destination wedding is catching on and honeymoons are taking off in different directions. We will be bringing you features on these issues and more.
For now, while we still have three-quarters of the year ahead, we’re looking at the time couples spend together and how valuable every minute is. We will also be looking at when might be the best time to say ‘I Do’, the time of year, the time of day are well worth thinking about, and a lot of details should be considered before a final choice is made.
And, of course, there are our couples’ own wedding stories. It is very special to share such an important event in print; a tangible way to remember the fun and the sentiments of one of the most important days a couple will ever have.
