A few weeks ago on a Saturday morning, when I am usually doing some housework, my husband sat on the sofa and asked me to sit next to him. As soon as I sat down the song of our wedding video A Thousand Words, by Christina Perri, started playing on the T.V. I always get emotional when I hear the song, it reminds me of one of the best days of my life. After watching the wedding video I am filled with a great sense of happiness. It reminds me of how everyone was so happy on the day of our wedding – our families, my husband and I; it was a dream for us all.
I then realised that the feeling I get afterwards is what love means to me. It is a pure burst of happiness. The feeling is so strong that I cannot contain myself and express it in tears of joy. That is why I decided to dedicate this issue’s Advice From the Expert to the meaning of LOVE. One of the points the article mentions is that it is proven that love is the key to a happy and fulfilling life, I totally agree with that, read more about this on page 8.
This is also our spring edition so we have focused on various spring-inspired articles including decoration tips for spring weddings, spring cocktails and spring honeymoons. I well needed to focus on spring as it is too cold for my liking at the moment!
